Stoberry Potted Shrimp was founded over 15 years ago by husband and wife team John and Barbara Rimmer.

Having grown up with her mother’s secret recipe Barbara had been making it for friends and family for many years until one day someone suggested she should try and sell them. They started making potted shrimps in their Suffolk kitchen with the shrimps sourced and hand peeled in Kings Lynn. 

The principle recipe remains the same today; The shrimps are caught in the shallow waters off the Wash, boiled on board the shrimp boat before being hand-peeled,  a slow, painstaking process that ensures a top-quality product. All other commercial methods use machines and water and so much of the delicious flavour is lost. 

Usage: Aside from the classic accompaniment of ample fresh toast, these delicious shrimps work perfectly through fresh pasta with courgette ribbons and dried chilli flakes. Also perfect on top of roast or baked white fish such as cod, halibut and  Dover sole.
