Chatka Red King Crab Leg Meat
Choose options

Chatka has its origins in 1930 in the Bering Sea, near the Kamchatka Peninsula — the brand name itself a nod to that founding ground. In 1960, the Soviet Union introduced the species into the Murmansk Fjord in the Barents Sea, where it adapted to the subarctic conditions and established the dual-sea fishery that Chatka works today. Close to a century of uninterrupted production makes it one of the most established names in premium canned seafood.
Paralithodes camtschaticus is the largest of the king crab species. Its carapace measures more than 30cm and its full span including legs can reach up to 2m; it can live up to 20 years and weigh more than 15kg. This product is 100% leg meat — cooked, shell-removed, and packed without filler. The icy, nutrient-dense waters of the Barents and Bering Seas produce crab with a clean, pronounced flavour and firm, yielding texture. Each portion contains a small, easily removable cartilage, a natural characteristic of the leg meat.
