Arborio is Italy's most popular and widely used risotto rice, distinguished by its particularly large grains—the biggest among all Italian rice varieties. This generous size makes it a cornerstone of Italian cuisine, perfectly suited for creating rich, creamy dishes with a beautiful texture.
As your risotto cooks, watch for the telltale sign of perfection: a luxurious cream forming as the starch releases from each grain. After approximately 16 minutes of cooking and absorbing the broth, it's time for the final step—"mantecatura," the process of binding the tender, separate grains into a cohesive whole. When your risotto reaches that signature flowing consistency, known as "all'onda" (like a wave), remove it from the heat. Stir in butter and a generous handful of Parmesan, give it one final gentle mix, and let it rest.

Can we guarantee delivery on a specific day? Unfortunately not - we rely on third-party couriers and can't control their schedules. All items leave us in perfect condition with good use-by dates, but final timing depends on the courier.
