Premium Champagne & Provence Rosé Online in the UK

FINE & WILD carries a focused selection of Champagne and Provence rosé — established houses and serious producers rather than supermarket labels. The Champagne range runs from grower and Grand Cru non-vintage through to prestige cuvées, and the rosé selection is drawn from classified Provence estates. We don't carry Prosecco or budget sparkling wine. Every bottle here is chosen because it delivers quality that justifies the price.

Champagne

Champagne is one of the most heavily marketed wine categories in the world, and one where the gap between reputation and quality can be wide. Many of the biggest-selling Champagne brands rely on name recognition more than what's in the bottle. We've taken a different approach — selecting houses where the winemaking is the priority.

Ruinart is the oldest Champagne house, founded in 1729, and produces Champagne with a finesse and Chardonnay-led elegance that many larger houses don't match. We carry their Brut NV, Rosé Brut, and Blanc de Blancs. Louis Roederer Collection 242 is a multi-vintage blend that reflects the house's move towards more expressive, terroir-driven Champagne. Lallier R.020 is a Grand Cru multi-vintage from Aÿ — serious Champagne at a fair price. Duménil Réserve 26 is a Premier Cru from the Montagne de Reims, offering proper Champagne quality as an everyday option. At the top of the range, Dom Pérignon needs no introduction — a prestige vintage cuvée for occasions that call for it.

The vinonomics principle applies here too. Champagne carries higher duty than still wine due to its higher ABV and sparkling wine duty rates. At the lower end of the market, an enormous proportion of the bottle price goes to tax, packaging, and margin rather than liquid. As with still wine, spending more puts a significantly greater share of your money into what actually matters — the quality of the base wines, the length of ageing on lees, and the care taken in blending and disgorgement.

Rosé

Provence rosé has become ubiquitous, and much of what fills the supermarket shelves is bland, commercial wine trading on the colour and the lifestyle rather than anything in the glass. The rosés we carry are different. Château Roubine is a classified Provence estate — Cru Classé is the highest designation in Provence, and only 18 estates hold it. Their wines have genuine structure, freshness, and aromatic complexity rather than just pale prettiness. Minuty 281 is one of the most recognisable bottles in Provence and one of the most consistently well-made — a serious rosé from one of the region's leading estates.

Good Provence rosé is a proper food wine — not just a warm-weather drink. It pairs well with seafood, grilled fish, Mediterranean vegetables, charcuterie, and lighter dishes where a red would be too much and a white too little.
