Japanese A5 Wagyu Burgers

Frequently imitated and diluted with inferior non-wagyu meat, these Japanese A5 Wagyu burgers are crafted exclusively from 100% Prime Japanese A5 Wagyu beef and hand-pressed using a traditional burger press.

We don't add any seasoning or additives to our burgers as the quality of the meat speaks for itself, and it allows our customers to season to taste.

Remove the clear burger disc separators before cooking, then cook these high-quality 100% Japanese wagyu burgers with their perfect balance of fat and meat gently in a frying pan for 4 minutes per side, turning once, and avoid cooking over an open flame as the hand-pressed patties will break apart if handled roughly.

A5 Wagyu denotes the very top grade of all Wagyu beef produced in Japan, often hailed as 'the best beef in the world' – a label attained due to its melt-in-the-mouth texture and exceptional umami flavour. Raised by hand in a respectful and devoted manner in the pristine mountainous and forest-rich lands of Japan, their stress-free nurturing and nutrient-rich diet is responsible for the incredibly flavoured intramuscular marbled fat.

Our burgers are minced and pressed as soon as we receive the beef and then rapidly frozen to -28°C in a matter of minutes. This process offers two major advantages: zero food waste and helping to keep the meat in outstanding condition. Red meat naturally discolours after a few hours, so blast freezing is the ultimate way to keep the meat as fresh as it is when first cut.

Authenticity: All Japanese Wagyu cattle are assigned a unique traceability ID number from birth.  You will find your ID number on the front of the pack and can check the authenticity of your purchase here.
