Handcrafted in the heart of Cornwall, our authentic Cornish Yarg is a semi-hard cow's milk cheese wrapped in distinctive nettle leaves that create its beautiful, edible rind. This award-winning cheese offers a fresh, lemony flavour with a creamy texture under the rind that becomes more crumbly towards the centre, creating a delightful contrast in every bite.
This unique cheese represents the finest of British artisanal cheesemaking with its captivating appearance and nuanced flavour profile. The nettle wrapping not only imparts subtle earthy notes to the cheese as it matures but also creates the breathtaking mosaic pattern that makes Yarg instantly recognisable on any cheeseboard.

Producer: Crafted by skilled cheesemakers using traditional methods and milk from local Cornish herds that graze on the lush pastures of the Cornish countryside. The cheese is named after its creator Alan Gray (Yarg is Gray spelled backwards) who rediscovered the recipe from a 13th-century text.

We use reliable third-party express courier services and high-quality insulated packaging. However, delays can occur, so we package items to ensure they remain in excellent condition.
If you need your delivery on a specific day, please mention this in the notes section on the checkout page. We may advise alternative options, such as dispatching your order a day earlier to ensure timely arrival.
All items leave our facility in perfect condition with a good use-by date. Please consider this when selecting your delivery date. Once dispatched, the package is under the responsibility of our couriers, making it difficult to change the delivery address or expedite delays.
We do offer Saturday delivery, but please note that our couriers do not operate phone support at weekends, and our customer service is closed. For time-sensitive deliveries, we recommend choosing a weekday to allow us to address any issues promptly.
