Pecorino Toscano DOP
Origin: Tuscany, Italy
A traditional sheep's milk cheese that has been crafted in the rolling hills of Tuscany since Etruscan times. This semi-hard DOP cheese is aged for a minimum of 120 days, developing a natural golden rind and a firm, straw-coloured paste with occasional small eyes.
Less salty than its Roman cousin, Pecorino Toscano offers a perfect balance of sweet and savoury notes. The paste has a buttery, nutty character with hints of dried herbs and fresh hay, reflecting the rich pastures where the sheep graze.
Excellent on a cheese board or grated over pasta. Try shaving over fresh fava beans dressed with olive oil, or pair with fresh pears and honey. Perfect for elevating simple dishes like cacio e pepe.
Producer: Made by small-scale producers across Tuscany who maintain centuries-old traditions. Each wheel is carefully aged on wooden boards and regularly turned by hand to ensure even maturation.

All items leave our facility in perfect condition with a good use-by date. Please consider this when selecting your delivery date. Once dispatched, the package is under the responsibility of our couriers, making it difficult to change the delivery address or expedite delays.
We do offer Saturday delivery, but please note that our couriers do not operate phone support at weekends, and our customer service is closed. For time-sensitive deliveries, we recommend choosing a weekday to allow us to address any issues promptly.
