Piazza Grande is a new-generation product from the renowned 'Mussini' Balsamic Vinegar producers of Modena, Italy, a region known for Ferrari, Maserati, and exceptional traditional DOP balsamic vinegar.

Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI embodies exceptional values, resulting from hard work, the selection of the finest raw materials, and their meticulous transformation and refinement. The careful balance between must and wine vinegar, with particular attention to scent and flavour, allows for the creation of a product with outstanding organoleptic properties, where sweetness, acidity, and fragrance unite to form a rare and unique blend.

Balsamic Vinegar of Modena I.G.P 7 gold medals follows the family’s traditional method, using only the must of selected grapes, directly fire-cooked, and then blended with the finest well-aged wine vinegar. It boasts a syrup-like consistency, a dark glossy colour, and a delightfully bitter-sweet flavour. This balanced, aromatic balsamic vinegar possesses a good structure with hints of cooked must and fine woods.

Colour: Rich brown with reddish highlights.

Aroma: Intense notes of precious woods. Pleasantly acetic.

Flavour: Balanced and well-orchestrated. Lingering taste.

Usage: It's great as a salad dressing and with roasted vegetables. Try it the traditional way poured over ice cream as a digestive to experience its unique flavours. We also recommend pairing it with fresh fruit such as strawberries and drizzling it over a good quality Parmigiano. Additionally, it complements a nice Ibérico Ham and grilled prawns beautifully.
