Producer: Rose et Or is the Matton family's signature wine, drawn exclusively from Minuty's three historic terroirs — schist, clay and sand — the parcels that built the estate's name. Hand-picked, skin-contact, free-run juice, cold-pressed and fermented, no malolactic. The vinification is uncompromising; the wine is the proof.
Pale in the glass with crystalline highlights. The nose is complex and intense — white-fleshed fruit lifted by tropical notes, building rather than declaring itself. On the palate, generous and saline, with a fine attack, well-integrated freshness and a finish that holds. Created in 2009 to succeed the legendary Oratoire cuvée that first made the château's name, Rose et Or was conceived as the highest expression of the Minuty style. In less than a decade it became the reference for gastronomic rosé in Provence — a wine for the table, not the terrace.
