DE RAPHAEL FIG CONSERVE
Origin: Sollies or Roussillon, France
This luxurious fig jam captures Mediterranean sunshine in a jar. Made with 64% fresh figs from either Sollies or Roussillon - France's premier fig-growing regions - this conserve offers a soft, luscious texture with natural honey notes. The high fruit content ensures an intense fig flavour, whilst a touch of lemon adds brightness. Gelled naturally with locust bean gum and carrageenan, it achieves the perfect spreadable consistency without masking the fruit's character.
The generous proportion of figs to sugar allows the fruit's natural sweetness and complex flavour to shine through, creating a preserve that's both sophisticated and comforting.
Spread on toasted sourdough with ricotta or goat's cheese. Divine with foie gras on brioche, stirred through yoghurt, or paired with strong blue cheeses. Also excellent warmed and drizzled over vanilla ice cream.
Producer: Confitures Artisanales de Raphaël - traditional jam makers using premium figs from France's renowned growing regions.
