These PDO-protected treasures arrive with their tell-tale soil still intact—the hallmark of authentic, freshly harvested Jersey Royals direct from the unique coastal fields where they're grown.

Widely regarded as the finest potatoes available anywhere, Jersey Royals offer an unmatched nutty flavour and delicate, waxy texture that simply cannot be replicated. Their exceptional quality comes from the island's unique maritime climate, traditional growing methods, and the seaweed fertiliser (vraic) used by Jersey farmers for generations. As a strictly seasonal product, true Jersey Royals are only available during their brief spring season—making them a highly anticipated annual treat for food enthusiasts.

To prepare these premium potatoes, simply rinse gently by hand with a small pinch of salt to remove the soil—this protective coating is a sign of their authenticity and freshness. For the finest results, cook thoroughly in salted water until tender, then allow to rest before finishing in a hot pan with quality butter and fresh herbs (mint, chives, or parsley work beautifully). Alternatively, roast with olive oil and sea salt for a crispy exterior or serve cold in salads dressed with a light vinaigrette.
