This exceptional garlic can only be produced in the specific terroir surrounding the commune of Lautrec in the Tarn department of southern France, where unique soil conditions and climate create the perfect environment for cultivating this prized variety.
The garlic's distinguished reputation dates back decades, having earned the coveted French Label Rouge certification for "ail rose" in 1966, recognising its exceptional quality standards. This prestigious status was further enhanced in June 1996 when it received protected geographical indication under "ail rose de Lautrec", cementing its place among France's finest agricultural products.
Quality and Characteristics: Our Calibre 60/70 designation indicates bulbs with head diameters between 60-70mm, representing substantial, well-developed specimens. The Category 1 'Extra Quality' classification ensures each bulb meets the strictest standards for size consistency, skin integrity, and flavour intensity. The distinctive pink-tinged skin gives way to ivory-coloured cloves that deliver a complex, mellow flavour profile with subtle sweetness and reduced harshness compared to conventional white garlic varieties.

Can we guarantee delivery on a specific day? Unfortunately not - we rely on third-party couriers and can't control their schedules. All items leave us in perfect condition with good use-by dates, but final timing depends on the courier.
