Natalie® Striped Cherries
Choose options

Natalie® is the striped cherry — a bright, glossy scarlet fruit drawn with a single fine dark line running the length of it, down the natural seam. No two are marked quite alike, and many carry a softer orange blush on one cheek. It is large, firm and crisp, sweetly flavoured and gently aromatic — because beneath the novelty it is a Regina, one of the finest late-season sweet cherries there is.
The look is the whole point, so they're best shown off and eaten fresh — piled in a bowl, served on the stem alongside cheese, or used anywhere they'll be seen. The firm flesh also holds its shape well in the kitchen: in a clafoutis, lightly poached, or macerated in a little kirsch. Keep them refrigerated, don't pack them tightly, and rinse just before eating. Best enjoyed within a few days.
Variety Natalie® is a striped natural mutation of Regina, one of the finest late-season sweet cherries. It was first noticed on a single branch, propagated and protected over several years, released in 2020, and named after the grower's granddaughter. Tree and fruit behave exactly like Regina; only the markings set it apart. These are grown in orchards in the Île-de-France, just outside Paris.
