Producer: Tenuta San Guido's Sassicaia stands as the pioneering Super Tuscan that revolutionised Italian winemaking when first released in the 1960s. Created by Marchese Mario Incisa della Rocchetta, this legendary estate proved that Bordeaux varietals could thrive in Tuscany's coastal climate.

The 2016 Vintage benefits from the estate's unique terroir of gravelly, well-draining soils near the Tyrrhenian coast, combined with the cooling maritime influence that creates ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. This vintage represents classic Sassicaia elegance, showcasing the perfect balance between power and finesse that has made it Italy's most celebrated wine and the first Italian wine to receive its own DOC designation.

Can we guarantee delivery on a specific day? Unfortunately not - we rely on third-party couriers and can't control their schedules. All items leave us in perfect condition with good use-by dates, but final timing depends on the courier.

Saturday delivery is available, though please note our couriers don't operate phone support at weekends and our office is closed. For event-critical orders, a weekday delivery gives us more flexibility to help if any issues arise.
