Furikake Seasoning
Choose options

Furikake is the dry seasoning Japan sprinkles over rice, and this one is built around roasted nori from the Ariake Sea, with little arare rice crackers for crunch, sesame, konbu and bonito for a deep marine umami, and a touch of soy and sugar to round it. Savoury and toasty, nutty and crisp all at once — and made without artificial additives, so the flavour comes from the ingredients themselves.
Sprinkle it over a hot bowl of rice, work it into or over onigiri, or scatter it across tofu, noodles, salads, scrambled or boiled eggs, grilled fish — even popcorn or avocado toast. Add it just before eating so the arare and nori keep their crunch. Reseal and keep somewhere cool and dry.
Producer Takusei is a Japanese maker of furikake, snacks and spreads that builds its blends around named regional ingredients and works without artificial additives. The nori here comes from the Ariake Sea off Kyushu — a large, shallow, tidal bay long regarded as the source of Japan's finest nori — gathered from several parts of the bay for added depth and texture.
