Producer: Château Cos d'Estournel stands as one of Bordeaux's most iconic estates, its distinctive oriental pagodas marking the landscape of Saint-Estèphe. Founded in 1811 by Louis-Gaspard d'Estournel, this Second Growth estate has consistently produced wines of exceptional quality.
Les Pagodes de Cos, named after those famous pagoda towers, represents the estate's second wine - though "probably the best second wine ever made" according to Robert Parker. Parker noted this 2010 vintage "is actually better than many vintages of Cos d'Estournel from the 1960s and 1970s". The estate's commitment to excellence extends to every bottle, with no pumps used during winemaking and a 100% gravity-fed winery preserving the essence of their exceptional terroir.
