Puglian Extra Virgin Olive Oil In Ceramic Bottle
Choose options

A medium-fruity Puglian extra virgin olive oil presented in a handmade ceramic bottle sealed with a natural cork. The oil is produced by Danilo Manco in Puglia — southern Italy's dominant olive-growing region, responsible for roughly 40% of the country's total olive oil output. The climate, soil, and established cultivation along the Adriatic coast produce oils with a consistent character that has defined Italian olive oil for generations.
The oil itself is cold-pressed and has a balanced, medium-intensity profile — fruity and herbaceous with a gentle peppery finish. It sits in the versatile middle ground between a delicate light-fruity oil and a more assertive Coratina-dominant pressing, which makes it a good all-purpose extra virgin for both raw and cooked applications.
The ceramic bottles are handmade by artisans in Puglia using glazed terracotta, decorated in the traditional smammorizzato (splatter) pattern — a technique originally used as an economical way to decorate everyday household objects, now considered part of Puglian cultural heritage. Each bottle is individually decorated, so no two are identical. The bottles are reusable once the oil is finished — refill with olive oil, use as a water jug, or keep as a kitchen ornament.
To open, use a corkscrew inserted about two-thirds of the way into the cork, then ease it out with a gentle side-to-side motion. Once opened, pour steadily — the ceramic lip pours cleanly.
