Producer: Les Fouchères is situated in the northern sector of Chambolle-Musigny, on gentle slopes with well-draining limestone soils. The vineyard's position and soil composition contribute to wines that perfectly express the elegance for which Chambolle-Musigny is renowned. This village lieu-dit exemplifies the appellation's reputation for producing some of Burgundy's most graceful and perfumed expressions of Pinot Noir.
2018 was a warm, sunny vintage in Burgundy that produced ripe, generous wines. A hot summer was balanced by good water reserves from spring rains. The harvest began early under ideal conditions, resulting in perfectly mature grapes with good concentration. The vintage produced wines with wonderful fruit expression while maintaining the appellation's characteristic elegance and freshness.
