The nose offers an elegant bouquet of blackcurrant, cherry, and plum, interwoven with classic Margaux notes of violet, cedar, graphite, and subtle tobacco. On the palate, this wine displays the refined elegance that defines great Margaux, with silky tannins supporting harmonious dark fruit flavours and complex mineral undertones. The legendary 2000 vintage shows beautifully now, with tertiary aromas of leather, forest floor, and exotic spices leading to a long, sophisticated finish with excellent balance and grace.
