The 2013 vintage, named "L'Eleganza" (The Elegance), reflects a cooler growing season that produced wines of exceptional finesse and balance.
Located near the Tyrrhenian Sea, the estate benefits from maritime influences and diverse soils ranging from clay to sand and volcanic deposits. Under the ownership of the Frescobaldi family since 2005, Ornellaia continues to showcase how international varietals can achieve extraordinary expression in this unique terroir, creating wines that rival the greatest Bordeaux blends whilst maintaining a distinctive Italian character.
