Producer: Maison Roche de Bellene was founded in 2009 by Nicolas Potel, scion of the renowned Burgundian Potel family, representing a new generation of négociant excellence in Burgundy. The 2014 vintage from Clos de la Roche showcases Potel's meticulous approach to sourcing fruit from this prestigious 16.9-hectare Grand Cru vineyard in Morey-Saint-Denis.
Known for producing some of Burgundy's most structured and age-worthy Pinot Noirs, Clos de la Roche benefits from its southeast-facing slope and limestone-rich soils. This vintage demonstrates the estate's philosophy of minimal intervention winemaking, allowing the exceptional terroir to express itself whilst maintaining the power and elegance that makes this Grand Cru one of Burgundy's most coveted appellations.
